Weaste is an inner city borough of Salford that is well documented as an area of deprivation. It was at one time THE place to live but over many years has fallen into a spiral of decline, resulting in boarded up properties, litter strewn streets and a small core of anti-social residents.
BUT NOT ANY MORE!
The residents of this once desirable area decided that enough was enough.
As the local authority earmarked the area for regeneration and the houses were given a new lease of life, so the residents decided to compliment this with Weaste In Bloom.
