Tony Thornborough
Tony is our own D.A. Pennebaker.
He documents all the Salford Salutes Dylan events which you can buy on DVD at SSD events as well as see some footage on You tube.

I was born in Hope in Salford in 1960 [hope that I would stay out of trouble that is] and was raised by wolves [not the wild dogs but the football ground in the midlands] Joking aside. I grew up in Eccles and continue to do so now I live in Swinton. I'm a relative latecomer to Dylan’s music much preferring punk and soul. Don't get me wrong I liked the guy, but now I love him with a passion.
I got involved with SSD through Tony Flynn who I've known since the 70's.
Not being a great musician I decided the only thing I had to offer them was to film the events, which I now do. You can normally see me stood at the back shouting “can you move your head a bit mate". I have now roped in my wife Tricia to help me.
If you come along to any future events and see me don't be shy of the
camera, I love to get folks opinions of the show on film. I might even let you buy me a pint too.

If you do overcome your shyness you may find your ramblings on the internet [you tube] for the whole world to see or in one of the DVD’s [only £3 all proceeds to the charity].
