Hi, my names Tony, I'm a Libran and would like to meet chicks who like B.... Sorry? Oh right, not that sort of website.
I was born in Salford at an early age and have stayed here all my life, proving that the adage travel broadens your horizons is true.
I went to school briefly with Chris; we met up again last year at a Frank Randle Film Society Meeting that led to a meeting with Ian, where the idea of Salford Salutes Dylan was formed.
Ian and Chris are bona fida musicians whilst I am a mere hanger on. However through my vast networks of contacts (Yellow Pages) I sorted out a music venue and a graphic designer (Ric) who does the stunning Dylan artwork for us.
So an idea that was started, literally on the back of a beer mat has now spread to both sides as we go from strength to strength. Plans are in progress for next years events, so we must be doing something right.
Fortunately I like Bob Dylan’s music which is a bonus, other musical favourites include, Hank Williams, The Ramones, The Clash, The Legendary Stardust Cowboy and Jay Z.
I think that’s the lot, can I go now, me mam's calling me in for my tea?
Oh nearly forgot, I write books about Salford.
