Paula Darwish & The Country & Eastern Band

Paula grew up listening to “country” and “eastern” music: her father is Jordanian and her mother is English. She has travelled in Greece and Turkey and has immersed herself in the music of both countries.
Paula Darwish is now based in Manchester and generating considerable interest with her Country & Eastern Nights. Her residency at the Iguana in Manchester is now in its third year and has remained hugely popular throughout. It's great to have Paula play at the SSDylan events and we hope to see her at future ones in 2008
The Country and Eastern band has changed from a backing band with an ever changing line-up to a tight knit unit with its own unique sound .
At every SSDylan event The Country & Eastern Band have played, they have never failed to bring excellent renditions of Dylan's music.
