We exchange cuttings and also perennials when they need to be divided.
It is lovely to be reminded by friend’s plants as you walk round your garden. Very enjoyable are the visits to gardens, mostly ones which look good all the year round, we usually go by coach in late spring or summer and these trips are much appreciated. Sometimes we use each others cars for a nearer garden like Fletcher Moss or Bents private garden.

We have videos of gardens and gardening programmes and plenty of reference books. It's very pleasant, in warm weather, to sit in the garden which often stimulates interest in the plants which we have striven to make colourful all the year round. This is often achieved from coloured and variegated leaves which last longer than blossoms and flowers.
