Student Visits to Salford 2005 & 2006

Cllr Stan and Linda Witkowski welcomed Coline Coursimault to Salford.We are delighted that Coline came to Salford as part of her studies from the
University of Blaise Pascal in Clermont-Ferrand.
Coline helped build relations for the future with Clermont-Ferrand & Salford.
2006 saw Sandra Cancela & Stephanie Dupouyet arrive in Salford to help with the 40th Anniversary celebrations between the two cities.Sandra & Stephanie put a booklet together for the Anniversary Event.They are both also from the Blaise Pascal University.
Arnaud BANOUN is the latest student from Clermont-Ferrand to come to Salford. He spent three months in Salford. The aim of his training in Salford city council was to develop links between Universities, Schools and some businesses of our two towns in the field of Information Technology. In the first year of his PhD, Arnaud also came here to improve his English and experience a different culture from his own and also another education system that he will discover through the many contacts that he will have to develop. Fond of sport in general, Arnaud will have the chance to watch a football match in the historical Manchester United stadium: Old Trafford with the Mayor of Salford.
