We visited a Church on the outskirts
of Clermont-Ferrand Eglise de St Nectaire.
ST-NECTAIRE lies some way to the southeast of Orcival, midway between Le Mont-Dore and Issoire. It comprises the tiny spa of St-Nectaire-le-Bas, whose main street is lined with grand but fading Belle Époque hotels, and to the west, the old village of St-Nectaire-le-Haut, overlooked by a magnificent Romanesque church (daily 9am–7pm).
Visits were arranged to have a look around the area,like the medieval town of Besse & the ski town of Super Besse just outside the city of
Clermont-Ferrand.
We visited the le Clos Hotel & Restaurant watching the chickens run about. Karine & Didier are in these photographs.
