The intermingling of cultures, the improvement of communication methods and geopolitic changes have led local authorities to extend their action in the international field.
Henceforth, the aim is to bring international activities closer to Clermont-Ferrand citizens.For more than thirty years, Clermont-Ferrand's local authorities have contributed to this international twinnings partnership movement.This was highlighted at the beginning of 1997 by the creation of a new structure to promote and develop exchanges with foreign countries :
"la Mission des Relations Internationales de Clermont-Ferrand".
The M.R.I.'s main task is to coordinate all the activities which aim to develop Clermont-Ferrand's relationships with other foreign cities.
Voici que vous pouvez trouver sous "international", des informations sur nos villes jumelles. Mélanger des cultures, l'amélioration des méthodes de communication et les changements geopolitic ont mené des autorités locales pour prolonger leur action dans le domaine international.
