40th Anniversary Exhibition

Salford appropriately chose Europe Day (9 May) to launch a photographic exhibition of images taken of people and images from Salford and Clermont-Ferrand by Danyel Massacrier.
Euro MP Gary Titley ( Leader of the European Labour Group) opened the event at Salford Museum and Art Gallery.
This was just the start of events to mark the celebrations.
Other photo's of Clermont-Ferrand were taken by our own Nick Harrison and members of Swinton and District Photographic Society who went over to Clermont-Ferrand on an exchange photo shoot recently.
Salford a judicieusement choisi le jour de l'Europe (le 9 mai) pour inaugurer l'exposition des photos prises à Salford par Danyel Massacrier.Le député européen Gary Titley (Leader du parti socialiste européen) a ouvert l'exposition au Salford Museum and Art Gallery. D'autres photos ont été prises par Nick Harrison et des membres de la Swinton and District Photographic Society (Keith Taylor, Geoff Riley) qui se sont rendus à Clermont-Ferrand pour faire des photos au mois de Mars.
