Below is a statement kept in the log book, as to how the team-building residential helped me in my personal development
SKILL AREAS
I learnt to work as a team when abseiling as on all the other activities. I also had to tolerate a lot as we were doing the tasks because everyone wanted to be heard and have control. I gained confidence on rock climbing and abseiling and would be able to do this now without crying (being scared). Also doing this I had to communicate with people about the ropes needing slack - I had to make sure I was clear on doing so.
