Supporting Refugee and Asylum seekers in Salford
SARELI aims to:
· Develop social activities, and encourage active participation in the community in all aspects of life. To enable those in need to be active, responsible members of society and to improve their quality of life, and facilitate appropriate level of social inclusion.
Advance education and enhance training opportunities for all ages.
· To relieve poverty, hardship and distress of African Refugees and Asylum Seekers resident in Manchester and surroundings areas, by the provision of training for employment, and advice on health matters, housing, immigration, interpreting/translating and advocacy.
· To support the exchange of information and collaboration between groups, associations or organizations.
To assist children, young people and their families through their education and leisure activities.
