These photographs of one of the charabancs that used to go to Blackpool from Little Hulton.
Does anyone remember anything about them?Does anyone know the names of the vehicles or any of the people on board?
We think the bus probably belonged to James Kay of Little Hulton who owned two vehicles. 'Peggy' and 'Peggy's Mate'.
Wonderful news !! June Frost (nee Kay) has written from Lytham St Annes to say that the 'chara's' were owned by her Great Grandfather. They were called Lady Peggy & Peggy's Mate, and June thinks the driver pictured is most likely her Dad
The speed limit was 12 mph!
