Developed in the early 1900's from the original "Fluess" apparatus. Many improvements made, without interference with basic design.

First choice by Lancashire and Cheshire Mines Rescue Service from 1908 up to 1987.

Self-contained, re-generative unit.

Could be stored ready for immediate use.

Robustly constructed and 100 per cent reliability, well proven over many years in use.

Total weight fully charged - Approx. 17.5 kgs, (38lbs).

Weight distributed evenly to front and back of body when worn.

Duration - 2 hours with 30 minutes reserve.

Could be worn underwater.
