The Choir enjoys strong support from the local business community. We are very fortunate that through our sponsorship scheme many businesses that operate in the area, from large plc's to corner shops, help by making donations to assist with our basic running costs.

In January 2000 the Choir was successful in its bid for a National Lottery Grant and was awarded the sum of £1,318. This grant was used to mount a publicity initiative and to purchase an electronic piano for use at venues where there is no suitable instrument available.

The Choir is particularly grateful to the City of Salford - Strengthening Communities Fund who, in March 2001, funded the purchase of a Box Van Trailer for the transport of the Choir's stage and equipment.
