SUMMER EXCURSION
An excursion by coach to Skipton and to the Yorkshire Dales Mining Museum. We hope to arrange for a guided tour of Skipton Castle, and there will be time to visit the local market and even take a narrow boat trip.

MARCH MEETING
Peter Watson entertained and enthralled the audience with old wives' tales, superstitions and folklore from Lancashire. Would any members who collected an 'abracadabra' good luck charm and who subsequently win the Lottery please remember to forward ten per cent of their winnings to Peter!

APRIL MEETING
Tickets are already going fast for CP Lee's history of comedy film night on April 14 so please book now to avoid disappointment. See programme page for details.

MEMBERS' EVENING
We have decided to hold a "members' evening" which will follow the Annual General Meeting on 12 May. Members and guests are invited to speak or lead a discussion on a topic of local interest of their choice for approximately 15 minutes.

INVISIBLE HISTORIES
The Working Class Movement Library is holding a series of talks to accompany the exhibition 'Invisible Histories; Salford's Working Lives' which is on until late summer 2010.
