Gemini
May 22nd
Chalk history group took a trip to Haworth, Bronte country,we have all read the stories the Bronte sisters wrote,
A picturesque village, with old fashion sweet shop,Apothecary,Draper, many more interesting places, there is such a lot going on in such a small place,
the street was decorated with red white and blue buntings ready for a 1940s weekend
and advert says a Victorian
event is planed for the run up to Christmas,
The street was rather steep so us oldies needed a sit down, which we did in a lovely fish and chip shop
A good day out
