ABOUT US
The Acorn Centre is a Space for Sport & the Arts Facility in Irlam. It is attached to two Primary Schools, Moorfield Community Primary School & St Joseph’s RC Primary School who use the facility during school hours for PE lessons and arts activities.
During evenings and weekends however the facility is available for hire and use by the local community. It is a superb facility with a Sports Hall, Arts / Meeting Room, kitchen facilities and changing facilities. It also has full disabled access.
The Sports Hall is one Badminton Court size 18m by 10m and has the following courts marked out: Basketball, Netball and Badminton. There is equipment available for use including badminton net & raquets, table tennis tables & bats / balls.
The centre can house many varied activities and is an excellent facility.
